Heritage Peruvian Ice Princess

HERITAGE STUD FEMALE-We very rarely let one of these prize females go. Peruvian ALEXIS has a stunningly bold look. ZION'S first cria, ALEXIS inherited his extreme fleece density, brightness and beautiful typey accoyo head. Alexis' high amplitude dense fleece does not sacrifice a soft silky hand & extends from her crimpy topknot to her toes even on her back legs. She has the heavy bone of both her parents that we like to see in a female. What else can you expect from the fusion of ACCOYO CALIGULA, VENGADOR, PERUVIAN DON JULIO AND HEMINGWAY genetics? We chose Black Champion SUNSET HILLS TEMPEST for Alexis first breeding to bring out the color in her background while keeping her stature and fleece characteristics. 7/27/2008 Alexis delivered her first cria a dark brown female(NO WHITE FIBERS!). SWEET TEMPTATION has very bright fleece with dense tightly packed crimp and perfect conformation. Alexis immediately showed excellent mothering skills and this little girl is very vigorous-IgG 2900. Temptation remains in our foundation herd as one of our BEST producers. Alexis' second cria Peruvian ALYSSA (SOLD) born in Sept is another outstanding female, daughter of Timberland's HemiAccoyo Aristocrat. 6/15/12 Snow Angel is the densest we have ever produced, sired by our own fawn full accoyo Royal Treasure. Snow Angel has her grandsire's extreme brightness with her sire's head and fineness. Daughter Temptation has given us Nautilus daughter Temptress and our Conopa daughter Moondancer, two of he best cria ever born on our farm, and this year a True Black Running Late son! We now consider Alexis one of our Stud females. Her full sister Amethyst is on our sales list.(SOLD) Alexis was bred in 2012 to K-2, an underused Alianza male with a fleece and production much like Hemingway. We have long wanted K-2 progeny in our herd, and although we had two male offspring of K-2 we were hoping for a girl. 9/28/2013 Alexis fourth daughter Ice Princess is born. The last K-2 daughter! White of course-she is very nice with a fine high frequency fleece and is now in our foundation herd. Alexis was bred to PC Running Late and delivered a really nice girl on 9/6/16 (SOLD). Alexis is rebred to Royal Avenger son Accoyo Royal Treasure hoping for a repeat of SnowAngel. Serious breeders please note, although Alexis is 11 years she maintains a healthy weight, gets pregnant in one breeding , and is THE basis of many of our home bred stock, and will deliver color when bred to color. We took 8 alpacas to show this year and she was in the pedigree of all but 2 including our up and coming herdsire Matrix Magic and produce of dam Temptress. Alexis delivered a nice white male by Royal Treasure who is included in the sale at buyers option. Alexis is a great buy for someone wanting to get into the alpaca arena at very low cost.
