We are very proud to announce our partnership with Lynn Edens/Little Creek Alpacas in this unique male Snowmass Lovers Legacy XX. He escaped notice and was not used for breeding until he was four when he exhibited lasting traits of fineness and exceptional staple length. For us it was a four year search for a male of this quality to put over our light and dark females. His offspring are showing off his prepotency and colorwise he has produced fawn when bred to any color, as well as darker colors and black. colors. In EPDs I was particularly looking at the SD and SL which are 0.29 and 11%. respectively. Check out his 7 year old histogram. Lovers is the most complete male for passing on his characteristics to his offspring
Lover has been heavily used at Little Creek this summer. I persuaded Lynn to allow us to share him a year at a time so he will be standing stud here in Oregon September 2020 until September 2021.. then alternate years.
I'm so excited that we will be able to cover females due to deliver this fall and again next spring/summer for those already bred. We are using him over all colors including Black this year. He is already a busy boy! Lover lives up to his name as he is an assertive breeder but very gentle with us.
Lovers Legacy's breedings are restricted-Limited breedings available. A deposit now will hold your breeding for next spring. Lovers' offspring and quality females bred to him will be available in the future. Breedings to females purchased at Little Creek Alpacas may be done here at Heritage Alpacas..

We believe dam lines are most important in the genetic lineup. Rose's dam, an 11 year old Hemingway daughter Andean Snow has lasting crimp, fineness, and brightness like that of a two year old. Rose looks exactly like her sire Snowmass Overture, a favorite Quechua son out of Andean Song. Hemingway x 2, Maree Love, Duet, P Lace, Jesusa and Senora...what else can you say?

9/5/18 Rose delivered a very nice white male with bright crimpy fleece who is included in the sale. He has the Matrix small fawn spot on his side from his sire but could still be shown in walking fleece and then breed him to white or color! (SOLD)

Too late! Rose delivered Heartbreaker’s first cria, a 21.6 lb beige female. Absolute stunning and Rose’s best cria, Rose has been exposed to PC RUNNING LATE. If not pregnant she can be rebred to any of our males.
We will be keeping this girl named Alpine Melody as Rose's replacement. Rebred to PC Running Late she delivered a stunning male Heritage Peruvian Justice who will be on our show string hopefully in 2021.
